Águia Química has two industrial plants which totalize monthly production capacity of approximately 2.500 tons. The inauguration of a third plant is expected for 2011, it will increase our current capacity to around 5.000 tons.
Taking into account the new acquisitions for Plant III, there will be 14 reactors and diluters with individual capacities ranging from 1m³ to 40m³. This diversity in equipment size and high automation level enable production flexibility to create customized solutions to meet each customer individual needs.
Águia Química also has storage tanks for high-turnover solvents and other liquid raw materials. There are currently 20 tanks with capacity of 60 m³ each, and storage capacity will increase by at least 6 tanks until the end of 2011. The units are fully automated and equipped with PLC (programmable logic control) volume control system capable of in real time and accurately informing the amount of product available. In addition, in order to assure the best quality for our products and services, we also have 3 highly modern labs: the quality control lab, the application lab and the development lab.
The new plant technological differential will be the use of an innovative system for raw material transportation, which will allow for the main solid raw material to be conveyed through an automated system, increasing production efficiency and thus eliminating wastes and risks of manual loading. The new structure will represent modern automation technology for our production processes, which will allow standards set for specifications and customizations to be strictly followed.
In addition, investments have been made with a view to environment, which is translated into a volatile organic compound (VOC) emission-free plant, in compliance with the specifications of the main inspection and certifying bodies such as IAP (Environmental Institute of Paraná) and ANP (National Petroleum Agency).
