In the early 1970’s, Ponta Grossa city, located in Southern-center of Paraná, started its industrialization process attracting several economical groups. In this setting, in 1973, Metalúrgica Águia emerged, which by the quality of its products and project creativity, grew and became a widely reputed company in the material movement and storage industry.
Believing in the economical potential of the forestry sector in the region, the founder of Metalúrgica Águia, later Águia Sistemas de Armazenagem, also founded Águia Florestal in 1992.
Boosted by Águia Sistemas need to manufacture paints for its own demand, the Chemical Division of Águia Sistemas de Armazenagem came into being in 1989, and later in 1999, became an individual business and was named Águia Química Ltda.
Still in 1999, the three companies were joined into a holding, Águia Participações S.A. Envisioning new opportunities in civil construction, the group founded a new company in 2011, Águia Sistemas Construtivos, which, with its innovative technology, is revolutionizing the planned framing sector.
