Resins
Resin is the non-volatile portion of the paint that is used to agglomerate pigment particles. They are responsible for the formation of the protective film that paint turns into after dried, and they are the components that provide the major characteristics of a paint, such as dryness, hardness, gloss, adherence, resilience and resistance, among others.
